  • Woodstock - 17 May 1941

Account of events: The C.O.T.C. travelled to remote areas to train for the practical examinations required to become a military officer. Sussex was the destination of the first retreat, which was then moved to Woodstock for the years thereafter.

Participants trained in drills, tactics, night-operations and maneuvers, among other things.
