Prominent date(s) of activity: 1948-1949

History: In January of 1948 the Glee Club and the Co-ed Choral Club merged to become the Varsity Singers. The two groups had practiced together under the direction of Dr. M. de Merten, so the merger was a natural progressional step.

Activities: The group sang several selections during Founders' Day, the Red 'n' Black Revue, and produced an all-Scottish concert.
