Vicky Gray earned a PhD in Psychology from Brown University, and joined UNB's [[Department of Psychology]] in 1971. Her initial teaching and research interests were focused on the acquisition of language skills. Increasingly committed to the advancement of issues important to women, Dr. Gray sat on UNB's Presidental Task Force on the Status of Women and on the University's Advisory Committee on the Status of Women. One of the founders of the Women's Studies Programme, Dr. Gray developed the introductory course, WS 3003, and served as the Programme's second Co-ordinator. She also founded the Women's Studies Students' Association, known as the Virginia Woolf Society. The Dr. Vicky Gray Memorial Scholarship in Women's Studies was established after her death in 1991. | |||

Vicky Gray earned a PhD in Psychology from Brown University, and joined UNB's Department of Psychology in 1971. Her initial teaching and research interests were focused on the acquisition of language skills. Increasingly committed to the advancement of issues important to women, Dr. Gray sat on UNB's Presidental Task Force on the Status of Women and on the University's Advisory Committee on the Status of Women.
