Professor Jack was named the honorary president of the University Athletic Association. He was also involved in the founding of the Engineering Society.

Notes: Ernest Edmund Jack was the son of William Brydone Jack. He was the valedictorian for his graduating class in 1891. Jack left UNB abruptly in 1905 after an unsuccessful attempt to secure a raise of $300 per year.
