Previous/other names: Radio School
Established: 1941
History: UNB, alongside several other Canadian universities, volunteered to train radio technicians for the Department of National Defence, who offered to pay $200 per trained man. The course took place intensively over the summer months, during which it was stressed that, given the nature of its intensiveness indoors, one hour per day would be allotted for outdoor drill training. After the course, students took a Bar examination to ensure qualifications.
Physical location: Singer Hall
