History: The Maritime Contemporary Dance Company (founded in 1974 as UNB Dance Theatre) was a group of dancers trained in both modern dance and classical ballet who performed a variety of works in Fredericton, Saint John, Moncton, and Halifax.

Activities: Company members practiced, performed, and choreographed routines.

Note(s): The Maritime Contemporary Dance Company received support and encouragment from The Fredericton Playhouse, the Student Representative Council, UNB Drama Society and others.
