History: The War Savings Stamps Committee aimed to raise funds for the war effort by selling War Savings Stamps to undergraduate students.
Activities: Pledge sheets were circulated to undergraduate students asking them to promise the purchasing of two War Savings Stamps per month of the academic year. A total of eighty-three percent of students pledged to participate.
Stamps were sold by Platoon Commanders of the C.O.T.C. to the male undergraduate students, and by the Ladies' Society to female undergraduate students.
Note(s): Each month, approximately one hundred and fifty dollars worth of stamps were sold.
