The grace was read during mealtimes at the Old Arts Building when it was used as a residence.

Grace before meals:

Da nobis, Deus optime maxime cum, His beneficiis tuis benedictionem tuam Per Jesum Christum Dominus nostrum.

(Give to us, Most Wonderful God, Th benediction along with these, Thy gifts, Through Jesus Christ, our Lord.)

Grace after meals:

Gratias tibi, agimus Deus, optime maxime, Pre omnibus beneficiis, tuis, Per Jesum Christum, Dominum nostrum.

(We give Thee thanks, Most Wonderful God, for all Thy gifts, through Jesus Christ, our Lord.)
