Sod Turning: 8 April 1974 by UNB President John Anderson, assisted by five-year-old Sarah Pacey and four-year-old Casey Brennan.

Architect: Fred Lebensold, ARCOP Associates, Montreal.

Named for: Named after the previous Pre-school Centre located on the UNB campus.

Renovations/changes/additions:

Notes: Originally housed for eight years in one of the war surplus huts on the UNB campus, the Preschool Centre is an independent non-profit organization that serves both UNB faculty and students as well as the Fredericton community at large.
