History: The South Asian Society was organized to foster a sense of unity among students from Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. Group activities celebrate and raise awareness about these various South Asian cultures.
Activities: The group held movie nights, produced a radio program called "Mehfil", and sponsored two annual cultural events: South Asia Night, and Bhangra Night.
