History: The Malaysian Student Society was formed in 1978 to help arriving Malaysian students adapt to life in Canada and on campus. The group also aspired to promote Malaysian culture to the surrounding community, and develop diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Activities: The Malaysian Society assists international students who are attending UNB, hosts events to promote Malaysian culture, organizes dinners, and plans social and sporting activities for its members.
