Role/purpose: Published by the Centre for Conflict Studies (now the Gregg Centre), the journal intended to be a source of information and ideas about conflict, both in theory and concerning global affairs.

Publisher: The Gregg Centre for the Study of War and Society (formerly the Centre for Conflict Studies), University of New Brunswick

Note(s): Conflict Quarterly became the Journal of Conflict Studies in Spring 1995, and this change brought with it a new format and new editorial board, as well a switch to publishing only two issues of the journal per year. This number contrasted the amount of times that the Conflict Quarterly had previously published its content, which was four times a year.
