Name: Canterbury Club

History: The Canterbury Club was founded to encourage the meeting of Anglican students, with the intention of acquainting them more thoroughly with their religion.

Activities: The Club met every Sunday, hosting guest speakers from the church and others closely associated with the religion, as well as organizing a number of social events.

In the late-1950s, the Canterbury Club co-sponsored morning worship services with the Student Christian Movement and the Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship.
