Notes: In April 1949 she was awarded two scholarships. The first, was the senior scholarship of the Canadian Federation of University Women, a traveling scholarship worth $1,250 for one year. It was given to assist Canadian university women graduates in research at universities outside the Dominion. The second, was a $1,000 Presidents' Fund Scholarship of Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore MD.
