Significance: Provincial Bicentennial

Summary of event: Her Majesty the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh visited the city of Fredericton on Tuesday, 25 September, 1984. Their visit to Fredericton was an all-day event to celebrate the provincial bicentennial and included a visit to the University of New Brunswick Fredericton campus. They were served lunch at McConnell Hall.

Notes: The Royal couple arrived in Moncton on 24 September, 1984. The visit was written about in the Daily Gleaner on September 24, 1984 and in the Brunswickan on September 28, 1984.
