Ken McGoogan was UNB’s twenty-second writer-in-residence for the 2003-2004 academic year.  McGoogan was born in Montreal and grew up in Ste-Marthe-sur-le-lac. He writes as a historian, biographer, and journalist.

He gave readings on September 22nd, 2003, in Memorial Hall; on October 7th, 2003, in the Ward Chipman Library Building in UNBSJ; and a farewell reading on April 3rd, 2004, at MacPhail’s Taproom in Fredericton.

McGoogan was preceded by Anne Simpson and succeeded by Erin Mouré.
