Education: BA (University of Toronto), Diploma (OCAD)

Colleen Wagner was UNB’s nineteenth writer-in-residence during the 1999-2000 academic year. She was awarded the 1996 Governor General’s award for her play “The Monument”, which has been translated into numerous different languages. Alongside her literary achievements she was the founder of the Notable Acts Theatre Company in Fredericton.

Wagner was preceded by Richard Sanger, and succeeded by George Fetherling.
