Previous/other names: Red Shirts
History: Soccer was reintroduced to UNB in 1949, with the season ending with UNB as city champions. By 1950, the UNB team had risen to the title of Maritime intercollegiate Champions. In 1961 the team was named the UNB Red Shirts. Currently, both a men and a women's team are active at UNB, both are Varsity Reds.
