Sue Sinclair was UNB’s 32nd writer-in-residence for the 2011-2012 academic year, and, as of February 2016, was one of four possible candidates for a tenured position as UNB’s director of creative writing. She gave a reading from her poetry collection Breaker in the Faculty Staff Club at UNBSJ.

Sinclair took over from John Barton, and was succeeded by Joan Clark.
