History: The UNB Medical Society brought together all UNB students considering entering the medical or dental professions to discuss important topics relevant to those fields.

'Activities': Initially student members themselves gave talks on relevant subjects, but it was found that this activity required too much extra research work of students, so professionals were invited to guest lecture. The group hosted an annual dance to raise money for club activities, watched films about medicine, toured hospitals around New Brunswick, and held regular blood donor clinics.
