History: In 2000, the society hosted the Atlantic Undergraduate Physics and Astronomy Conference (AUPAC 2000). Over 120 students and professors from around the Maritimes participated in the event, which featured talks by prominent experts in both fields.

'Activities': The Physics Society promotes interest in physics while offering member the opportunity to develop friendships, discuss physics related topics, and help each other with physics related classes.
