MediaWiki is open-sourced, freely available wiki software. It is currently the software by the UNB Archives and Special Collections to host, support, and develop the History at a Glance wiki.
As open-source software, MediaWiki is extremely maleable and can be modified to suit many different needs. This flexibility will be essential in allowing the wiki to grow and develop in the future.
