Activities/Contributions: Contributed heavily toward developing a worldwide reputation for UNB in aerial mapping and timber spraying. 

Notes: As a student, Mr. Gibson left UNB to participate in the First World War from 1915 to 1918, finishing his degree upon returning from Europe.

Later he became the first Dean of Forestry.
