RichTextEditor

The RichTextEditor is easier to learn and use than the WikiTextEditor. For some, the RichTextEditor toolbar will prove intuitive because it contains functions similar to popular word processors. This toolbar facilitates many of the functions that will be necessary for the creation of basic content.

The toolbar is static in the functions that it offers, but also flexible in that it will change depending on the size of the browser window by which it is accessed. When editing, the Contributor will have access to all the tools included here (though perhaps in a slightly different layout):

WikiTextEditor

The WikiTextEditor may prove more difficult to learn as it is more of a coding language. However, if unintimidated by the prospect of coding the WikiText language is not particularly difficult to learn and very functional. It is also necessary to access some of the more advanced editing features.
