History: Organized by Dr. D. J. C. Laming, the Sports Car Club intended to promote responsibility and sportsmanship while driving.

Activities: The Club held rallies, gymkhanas (races with obstacles), and time trials, while hosting bi-monthly meetings that featured films and instructions on cars, driving, and mechanics.
